Im stumped, What now??

I love the half life series. I completed HL2 and episode 1 and im now on episode 2 but i've come to a dead end and im thinking it could be a bug in the game because this sort of thing happened in black mesa on HL2. I've got to the part where you kill all the ant lions coming out the tunnels by placing the machine gun turrets down, then the 3 vortigaunts appear, kick some ant lion butt and then start to heal alex on the bench. This is where im stuck. The 2 other guys are saying go, but where?? I've looked everywhere and cant seem to find where to go. Is one of the vortigaunts supposed to follow you or vice versa? They're all standing around the table saying follow freeman and i dont know what to do next. Please help.

Move up the ramp, a vort should follow you. Listen to his directions

Wow, thanks for the rapid reply. It was a bug. I had to restart some of the level but luckily it autosaved before i quick saved so not so bad, onto the next level we go. I remember 2 similar problems with the AI in HL2, Both at elevators and both with women, wow women really do not listen lol

I've heard about that bug, when you first meet Alex she won't get in the lift. Never happened to me though.

Never had any bug even resembling it. I was scared that my first new computer since the release of HL2 would change this and I would encounter the bug. Luckily I didn't. :E

when alyx "fixed" the first radio transmision station, she wouldnt jump back down from up top after i put the plug in. I restarted and it worked fine.
