Installation problem

Heya, I inserted disc 1 and clicked to install but recieved message "this istallation is not a valid windows installer" or something very similar.
I'm running a P4 3.2 with 1.5 gig ram Win XP with service pack 2.
Any suggestions would be muich appreciated

If you have another Drive on your Computer try that.

Just in case it's a Windows related problem run the Program System File Checker.
