from the guy that brought you the "Pulverizer" and confusing rambles about the psyche-vid when the first shaky-cam was released.... we bring you this: :bonce:

so I think this is what Dr.breen is saying in the new vid... maybe this hints to some kind of police-state where individual thoughts are considered "dangerous", it might even hint towards somekind of thought-police or even direct mindcontrol.

what do you think?

*edit I'm not sure if the title will show up properly...but "instinct" and "injury" are the two words I'm not entirely sure of.

Methinks it's not so much individual thoughts as it is thoughts of revolt. Those thoughts are dangerous to the Combine...but it's clear that instead of mind controlling you, they just beat you / kill you.

Dr. Breen promised that the citizens are only being treated like this for a short time, then they'll be free to do as they please. Are you calling Dr. Breen a liar?! :O

;)

I think it's about them controlling the citizens of city 17, and I think that the tower and its parts have been shipped in via the teleporter.

I thought that Dr. Breen (Administrator) and g-man were two different people, or are they the same person?

Very different people. Dr. Breen is the white-haired scientist you see on monitors and televisions throughout City 17. G-Man is the man in the suit who you kept running into in the first Half-Life, the man who eventually offered you a job.

And Dr. Breen may not be the Administrator...

I think it could be "Incident", maybe, instead of instinct. Don't quote me on that, though...

hmm maybe...but then there would have to be something before that...wouldn't makes sense starting out with "incident" in a sentence would it? it's "something"-incident... :bonce:

I thought I had seen all of the HL2 videos. Do you have a link to the video that shows Dr. Breen? Or a site that tells more about him?

The new E3 trailers got quick shots of Breen's monitors...

I think some of the student-made shakycam vids do too...

Wrong quote :P.

[EDIT]: Oh, you fixed it... sorta...

[EDIT2]: Now you've fixed it properly...
