Erik J. of VALVe hopped on to the #hl2media channel on Gamesnet earlier today, a few people asked him some questions, heres a tidbit:

<aragorn> ErikJ: I have heard that steam will incorporate P2P elements later on. Any idea what kind of P2P elements?
<ErikJ> P2P is a ways down the road, but yes, it's a natural path for any distributed file system.
