I guess I am too cheap to spend $20 on a 6 hour game.

Is it possible to legally buy an used, working copy of this game?

You could check on ebay. But you stand a good chance of getting ripped off buying used Valve games due to the fact that cd-keys are tied to a specific account. If you buy the game from someone and they've already played it (ie. tied the cd-key to their account), it WON'T work for you.

And seriously, it's just 20 ****ing dollars. I've beaten some console games in 3 hours that I spent $80 on.

I read a while back that there is a way to resell a game but the seller has to go through the pain of contacting Valve and jump through hoops. Not really worth it for a twenty dollar game. Yeah, really good chance of being ripped off.

It's just been released, like, a day or two ago. Why would anyone be keen to lose it already? Fork out for your own copy tight-ass. Or get another paper-run.

Honestly, the trouble you would have to go through to buy a used copy would actually have you forking up more money than just going out and buying it new.
