Is my system "old"?

Well, I know we have Prescotts and HyperThreading and many 'new'er advancements, but here are my system specs:

Pentium®4 2.8 GHz (533MHz FSB)
Abit IT7-MAX2
Mushkin DDR 2700 [1GB Total]
ATi RADEON™ 9800 XT [256MB]
Maxtor 120GB 7200RPM (8MB Cache) HDDs (X2 - 240GB Total)
Sound Blaster Audigy2 Platinum
Antec Performance Series 430W Case
Pioneer A107 DVD-RW/+RW and Pioneer A106 DVD-RW/+RW
ViewSonic P220fb Professional Monitor [Primary]
ViewSonic PT810 [Secondary]
Microsoft® Windows XP® Professional OS

I need to know if I can comfortably play Painkiller, Far Cry, Breed, Unreal Tournament 2004,Half Life 2 and hopefully DOOM 3. I normally play 1600x1200x32, 85Hz Monitor Refresh Rate, all eye-candy ON (except AA).

Your insights and comments are greatly appreciated.

Personally I think you know perfectly well that your system can play these games. I also think you're just posting that to 'show off' your system specs, knowing the majority of visitors to the forums have inferior systems. I also think you should shut the f**k up and read the stickys.

But that's just my thoughts.

And just incase you were wondering, no... your rig isn't better than mine.

yeah isnt your signature a little bit (lot) long? no one really cares about your computer specs.

and yeah it wont run hl2, sorry, go get a new one.

not to mention your ram is pretty slow, your fsb is totally whack (dont know why you got a 533 when you could get a 800 for next to nothing more)

and how the hell would your moniters and soundcards, and case have anything to do with how your pc will run? honestly youre a ****ing newb.

Yup, this is just a my PC is bigger than yours

well just to piss on the bonfire of anyone wanting to show off their hardware this way when they know full well their specs are just fine for playing HL2. I command an international renderfarm that runs into the hundreds of machines, all dual cpu's Which are used for rendering CG animations in minutes rather than days which I can hire out to other companies for thousands per day. So put that in your DVD drive and burn it Mr Fancy Pants.
