well i think its fair to assume that one would think you would get it before any other weapon considering it was the first weapon you receive in both half life 1 and 2. I think its odd that they gave it to you so late in the game and i think if it wasn't a large symbolic emblem of half life they could have left it out and I wouldn't have had a problem because i never use the damn thing... now if it was a one hit kill weapon then I'd use it a lot more.

Nah, the crowbar is the trademark of Half Life 2. Besides, then there wouldn't be any of this "I beat down the Antlion Guard with just a crowbar!:cheese: " stuff.

It's kinda hard to miss the crowbar in ANY HL game. In all three of them, you can't even advance until you get it. Why would you post a thread like this when it's impossible to miss the thing without cheats?

Tbh, I missed the crowbar in the original Half-life for, like, 20 minutes before I found it. I still can't remember where it is when you first find it...

No that's where you break that laser experiment to cut through some computer consoles. Pretty similar, but not the same area. Shephard's just outside the infirmary at that point.
