Is there a way to play music files while playing?

Is there? I tried commands such as play, playflush, playsoundscape, and playgamesound but they only play certian .wav files.

turn on your cd player ... insert cd ... skip to track wanted ... press play

Turn off music from Options, then have a media player going in the background. There's no built-in player.
