Is your spelling worsening over time?

My spelling has always been fine. My handwriting, though, has deteriorated to a state in which it's no longer recognizable by others as words.

If you want people to respect you, than yeah.

IMHO anybody who can't spell properly without a computer has already failed at life.
Well, it's an opinion but without some rationale it's a hollow one at that. I mean, sure, you might get respect for being able to spell without resorting to the help of a computer but is that rational? Do you even gain something from that? The world is big and there are lots of things computers can't do. Maybe, as humans, we should focus on these instead of making a tradition out of spelling. Honestly, how many of you can't find respect for people who use calculators? Isn't it the same thing?

Let me put it this way: would you respect me if everything I wrote came out as stupd as ths? N/Y? Srsly. Just reading your well-spelt and grammatically correct argument makes me respect your opinion more than if it were something along the lines of:

I found it nearly impossible to misspell any of those words, by the way, and English is my second language.

The longer you're on the internet, the worse your grammar becomes. FACT.

My spelling is only bettering.

And my grammar be correct like completely.

My beautiful vocabulary cannot be misspelled.

But would you care if my post looked like that and then I had my computer fix it? That's the point.

It's all because of the querty keyboard, designed to maximize inefficiency when typing.

Yeah the QWERTY layout sucks, I really wish something like Dvorak had caught on.

I'd never know, but if I knew you IRL and you wrote like that, I'd doubt your every opinion.

Yeah, mine has been getting worse over time. I think it comes with less reading and more games and net...
