You mean transfer :) bandwidth is the amount you can push trough the line per sec (line thickness for example 100mbit)

transfer is the amount you transfer trough the lines. like 30 gig a month

Actually, 'bandwidth' and 'transfer' are one and the same these days - you see hosting companies offer '400GB bandwidth p/m' all the time, although the big ones do tend to be more articulate.

Technically this is a waste of both bandwidth and transfer capacity, though. Which is why I'll shut up now. ^_^

I love it, I use a really small cable company, Aurora cable. They don't put any bandwidth limits on my connection. That is until they're devoured by rogers cable in a hostile corporate takeover.
