Today, for fun, I tried to push a box with a combine corpse on top of it into the elevator after you first meet Alyx. I could not do it, so in the end I gave up and went into the elevator. Alyx said somestuff and started the elevator. However, the corpses leg was poking through and prevented the elevator from going down, so I was stuck their. I didn't think the physics engin affected the game THAT much... wow... this game continues to amaze me after a month or so of playing.

That's funny, I actually tried the same thing the first time I played

So? Its realistic, if someones leg is caught in the door, the door wont close, therefore, the elevator won't go.

Plus, the gravity gun and all the objectives possible wouldn't be there without physics. So i'd have to disagree.

The only thing I can think that hes disagreeing with is that he is disagreeing that the game amazes scotsman after he has played a month or so.

Which I don't see how its possible.

You wont be able to use the grav gun effectively without the physics . It's that big.

I'm replying to the first post, specifically the first half, not the part about the game being good, who disagrees with that.. :cheese: that I disagree that "the physics engine affected the game THAT much" :D
