They sound like they do because a human recorded them, and most people whom record or "rip" music (copy it from it's source to a digital, Windows/Apple readable format), do not know what they are doing.

Limewire is a file sharing program that searches for files owned by other Limewire users. There are absolutely no guarantees that what you think you are getting is actually what you want.

I have experienced a similar thing as what you are describing.
