lines on my screen in DOD:source

My copy of DOD works fine but there are 4 white lines always stuck on my screen that go down from the capture point boxes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I can put a screenshot up if you dont know what I'm talking about.

try validating your steam cache files......sometimes that fixes weird things like these.....
try changing your resolution in game.....

validate steam files, reinstall DOD:S, check your graphics card drivers

how do I validate steam files?

right click on the game in the My Games list on steam

click properties on the menu that comes up

click the 'local files' tab

then click the button 'verify integrity of local game cache'.
