HL2 is still intact. Even the screenshots folder but there are a bunch of extra files all called
Steam__####__2005_#_#####_#_#########.mdmp

Where # is a number or letter(usualy number)

Any ideas?

If youre using the new steam, itll just pre load the pre cache stuff when you double click the icon to play it. I think :dork:

OK, it just fixed itself...wierd
Now CS:S isn't intalled...oh well

Happens all the time rye-ohm hair. All my games went into a 'not downloaded' state, you just restart steam and it fixes itself, alot of people get it here, so i knew what it was when i happened to me, surely you can't have missed this happening to others? Get out of Aftermath forum for once!

SAme thing happened to me, it prompted me to install Half Life 2 and gave me a shock, but just press install and everything will be back to normal (you don't have to install it again).
