many rockets, no gunship? (under-bridge-part)

when i came out of the tunnel (right before the "under-trainbridge-part") i saw a gunship leaving and disappearing, coming from the houses. when i had approached the houses and killed all the combine it was the 1st time i wondered why there''s so many rockets lying around but no gunship. i thought it'd come soon. but when i started to climb almost all the way under the bridge and found more and more rockets but only 2-3 combine and 2 headcrabs as opponents i started to wonder if i encountered a BUG... there SHOULD be a gunship while i climb below the bridge, no?? and it's really boring without it.

You will encounter a gunship after you deactivate the forcefields. You will backtrack on the bridge with a gunship shooting you.

ah thanks, what a relief. thought i'd miss a special fun part of the game...
