I saw a long time ago, cant find it anymore, a man was able to use max to render a depth map of a model to do some DOF work in another program. Does anyone know how to do this? By depth map I do not mean just a bump map. For example, if you had a model of a pyramid and you were rendering it in top view, the ground would be black and the top of the pyramid would be white. This of course COULD be used as a bump map later. Thanks
