Minerva cheat codes possible?

Hi Modders:

I dl'd the Minerva mod and tried to access the console/sv_cheats 1 command to no avail.

Is there a way to easily add weapons, god mode, etc. to these mods? Do I have to use the Source engine to place a ammo box with a 1,000 rockets in it?

Please advise.

yes all the cheat codes are available in the normal way
make sure you have the console selected in advanced in the control tab of options

I had not checked the console option.
I didn't think the interface would be the same as the retail HL version.
