Can you size custom models in Hammer... or do I have to size it right in Maya?
If it is only in Maya... Does anyone know the Sizing conversion from Maya to Hammer?

Thanks

Do you mean scaling?

You best bet would be to get a SMD decompiler and import a model and use it for scaling your models. That's how I've been doing it and it works fine.

yeh decompiling models is a good idea. also u can adjust the scale in the qc file.

decompiling

I decompiled the G-man and when I import the smd's into Maya all I see are the bones?

any suggestions?

Thanks

make sure your opening the gman reference file should be called literally gman_reference.smd otherwise check you havnt decompiled the animations mdl for gman rather than the actual model mdl.

decompiling 2

Well I'm using the CannonFodder ModelDecompiler and the maya scripts that came with the HL2 install (using maya 6.0 and 7.0)... and I tried the Reference model and still the bones show up. The bones show up with no animation attached.

please help

thanks
