More Valve/ATI hoopla

It seems the once-discussed $8 million bid that ATI put up for Half-Life 2 bundling rights was a rumor. Both NVIDIA and ATI settled on an even $6 million, and then Valve took their pick of who should be the one to land the deal.

Yea, Gabe said they scored the deal when ATi saw how well the benchmarks did.
