Mouse

I'm just beginning to play games on my PC, so please bare with this ignorant questions.

I have a very cheap mouse that has a roller ball in it. I know it sucks, but don't want to buy another one that I think is good, but ends up sucking just as bad.

What mouse do other players use? I don't want to spend a ton of money on a mouse, but want something that works good.

Get a cheap optical, you will be amazed by the difference. Once your happy you want to spend real money on a mouse, go for a logitech gaming mouse.

Most players use the Logitech MX518. They have a lifetime warranty afaik, and it's very nice.

I'm currently using a razer deathadder (my mx518's kept dying due to a certain flaw in my desk + mouse), and its about the same as my mx518, just a different style.

As CyberPitz said before, what is the difference in having another mouse? Does it play the game for you?

I use a Logitech MX Revolution. It's the best mouse I've ever used (though I must admit I've only used generic mice before this one) it just rocks so much at gaming, and uses an internal battery with a charger so you can charge it overnight so it will never run out (until it dies a lonely death that is).
