You're talking about the cooperative mode. Well, there's no such thing in HL2.

You can get coop working.... some maps crash at certain points though. You can just spawn more jeeps. You have to have cheats on anyway because you spawn stuck and need to noclip out. mp_allownpcs 1 turns on the enemies or mabey its mp_allownpc 1.
