Hey guys,

I just joined today becuase I really like the Half-Life series and I would like to talk about it with other gamers.

About G-Man. In Half-Life 1 I dont think G-Man was in Black Mesa for Gordon. He was there for other reasons and acidently saw gordon and realized he was important. As G-Man said twice, once at the end of Half Life and at the start of Half Life 2, "The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world". So the G-Man seeing how gordon survied, he put him in a slow time warp. In Half Life 2, G-Man brings gordon back after 12 years or so after the world has been takin by the combine. Gordon is brought back to help save the world from the combine.

These are my theories.

Well G-Man only kept Shephard becuase he "adapted and survived" black mesa. G-Man said his "people" wanted Shephard dead. Also, I think that when they say he created gordon its when he gives him the job at the very end of the game.

I like your theory though.

Also, I was just thinking in G-Mans last speech in Half Life 2 he says somthing like "rather than giving you a choice ill choose for you until we meet again". So I was thinking that G-Man wasnt goign to bring him back until later which means he didnt want him to help the world fight the combines anymore. So that means the vorgonots want or need gordon to help them with somthing. Just somthing to think about.
