Source: Natural Selection Homepage

It seems that the buck has stopped and something's going to be done about the Natural Selection site to reinvigorate the community and playerbase. In the most recent news announcement, NS creator Flayra is asking for a part-time, very experienced webmaster to get the last few bugs in the website fixed once and for all. If this all goes as planned (and quickly!), Natural Selection should see a return to its former days of glory. Check out the link above for the full announcement, including news on Flayra's start-up venture, Unknown Worlds Entertainment.

Hey everyone. We've been having our fair share of problems in getting the forums and rest of the site back up after the hackers had their way with us and we do appreciate your patience while we work through them. The whole thing has taken a lot longer than we anticipated and to make matters worse, the site downage also meant that we lost our main source of funding. It's probably not obvious from the outside, but Constellation donations have been my main income and have enabled NS development to continue (otherwise NS development would've stopped part-way through development of NS v2.0). Development on NS:Source has been predictably slow during this time as well.

I've actually needed the forum for once. :o

I reinstalled NS for the hell of it, and just found out it doesn't run in software mode, so am I stuck with OpenGL/D3D? It runs like shit on both. D:

GeForce FX 5200, although it ran fine on a GeForce 440MX, which is older.

Maybe I've got some settings messed up somewhere.

Sounds to me like driver problems, since OpenGL looked pretty good.

er... you're on the half-life TWO forums here, mate. If HL2 runs on your comp, NS will. :|
