People have been wanting to know what the two fat things walking across the path as you ride along are. They are a race called 'The Synths, self-replicating robots that evolve, were created or taken over by the Combine and enslaved through their conquests and wars.. By the way, that fat beetle like creature is called a Dabih Eng.. I think. The other thing people are wondering about that I've noticed is the things with no hands or feet and have a face plate where their face should be. These are called Stalkers and are a nullified amputated human that the combine turned into a slave labourer. They ripped out all the organs and run them on saline solution so they are easier to maintain.
