Need help on error message in game.

The part in the prison..... where you defend yourself with 3 turrets.... it's pretty hard... and I keep dying.... anyways.. after a lot of death and reloads eventually I get this....
I get an error message saying that 'node graph not updated' or something to that extent... not sure what it is but once I get that message... and the next reload.... first the AI is automatically disabled.... I enable it and hear alyx's voice saying something about setting up the turrets... after I set it up though.... no soldiers come. Hence I cannot advance in the game. Is there anything in the console I can type to fix this? Is this a bug? Is there something wrong with my game? Did anyone else experience this error message? What does it mean?

You have an illegal copy.......I had the same problem....Alyx will be waiting on the 1st floor doing nothing. Buy the legit game and Alyx will eventually let you through the forcefields once you have killed loads of combine troops. It is a copy protection thingy built into the game.
