Need some advice

I'm thinkin of splurging this Christmas and buying http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16889107001.

Anyways my question is how good would this be for gaming? I mean my brother had a flat screen monitor about 3 years ago and it blurred and ghosted kinda bad when I played BF1942. Does anyone know how bad this thing would ghost or would it even do that?
