When the guy was shooting at the ship thing it seemed to bland to me, the sound the gun made. Now when you fire a DAO-12, now that is an awesome sound.

Game is still not even completely finished, I would bet some sounds will probably be changed/left alone. Look at BF2 it has some new helictoper sounds(different from when it was first released in June 05) and other vehicles have different sounds aswell.

It has BF2142 being explained by some guy, he talks about unlocks and the titan at the start. Havent seen much of it becuase i need to go, but its 21 mins long.

Well...essentially it is? That thats the appeal of it.

Anyway if your not interested then disregard your interest and go look at other games. No one cares of some guy posting 'i'm not interested in this game' (i'm referring to Bam), because no one cares. Post and contribute your interest, not lack of.

Well personally I think this game/mod/expansion/whatever looks awesome. I love futuristic stuff and the new game mode and unlocks sound awesome. I like how the squad leaders get special unlocks to use and that you can customise the kits. The Titan is just awesome. Sure the maps look a tad bland, but its still in production guys... i'm sure it'll look better in the final product.

I agree Ren, the fact its the same engine does not bother me, as the BF2 engine was fine i thought. Changing the game into futuristic mode sounds like a welcome change, and the new game mode combined with mech warriors and orca-like things looks to spice everything up. I'm just about to watch this 20 minute video now.

edit: Watched it, and they've sold Titan to me, it sounds like a really fun game mode, i will enjoy playing that. Custom classes, specific squad leader items etc, score!

One one hand teh gameplay looks pretty cool. But the enviorments look really bland and everything seems to have about the same color. I mean is ST the only series where in the future not everything is grey.
