I'm thinking of firing this game up again, and starting from scratch.
This time, i'll be using a custom class.
This is one part that i'll need help on, deciding on how to roll this characters stats (as I plan to play him for a LONG LONG LONG time).
The character i'll be creating, will be a monk sort of a character, yet he is a "soldier of christ", aiming to cleanse the world of the unholy. He chastises himself daily, so as to suffer as christ did. He's sort of in the same vein as Silas from that book/movie "the Davinci Code".
I'll be playing him as a fairly solitary, rutheless, monk. Completley clean of the devils magick, he uses no enchanted items he finds or is awarded, as the church considers such inanimates possesed by lucifer. He accepts charity from no one.
Living a life of celebacy, he follows the ten commandments robotically, branching off only under request from christ. Same going for the seven Deadly sins, especially the ones on Greed and Gluttonly. Thusly, he does not take the items he finds in caves, does not sell any items he finds, and does not accept gifts from others.
Every day, he chastises himself in penance (i'll be making two seperate potions for this that damage health and endurance, but fortify a crapload of things), so he may sufer the same way as christ did.
As formentioned, the only enchanted items he uses are those that are awarded from the heavens (cough that I make cough). He also uses no potions (besides the Bread and Wine, which i'll make myself and cary at all times, and use pretty much as health potions).
So, here's my first idea for class, off the top of my head.
+5 Base Skill Fortifications: Agility, Strength
Major Skills: Armorer, Blade, Alchemy, Restoration, Alteration, Sneak
Armorer, because he does everything for himself, alchemy so he may make the body and blood, restoration so he may pray for rejuvenation, alteration so he may pray for physical and heavenly strength from christ, and sneak so he can sneak around and stuff
If anybody has any suggestions for a class, i'd be EXTREMELY grateful.
The other area where i'll need help, is somewhere to host a blog for this.
I plan to roleplay this bastard to the EXTREME. This means that every time I come out of a game, i'll be writing "journal" entries for him, which I plan to write in a blog (till I finish my website).
