Edit - Possible fake, one guy says he has the latest EGM and it doesn't have the latest HL2 review and they don't review PC games.

I'm not sure I'm happy about it since I'm a hardcore EGM fan, but...here it is.

They give it 2 10's and a 9.5, by the way. The 9.5 guy (Shoe) says the ending sucks and he doesnt like how the flashlight and sprint run out.

Yeah, I definitely don't agree with Shoe on this one. He said it was the best PC game he had ever played, but he gave it a 9.5.

They also mentioned that it ran a little slow because they don't exactly have gaming PCs since they normally don't review PC games, but they didn't take off points for that.

20 hours on normal - probably under a deadline time pressure for publishing the review so you'd have to go a bit faster than any of us would.

I'm guessing you could finish the game in 25 hours on normal and 30 on hard.

Well, let's face it , who did like the ending of Half Life 1?

Okay, okay, maybe somebody did, but the point is IT IS about The Game, not The Ending.

The endings are usually not satisfying, since there has to be a room for the sequel... Last ending that I really liked was Star Control II, and that was in 1993. :E . C&C and Red Alert II had OK endings too.
