Wasn't there an announcement awhile ago, that Fallout 3 was in the works?
It was a very subtle announcement... It was either that or it was cancelled.

YES fallout 3 is being created, YES it is on the oblivion engine and YES Bethesda does own the full rights to it. Its being created by the same team.

I don't see that as a positive thing, Bethesda are 100% used to FPS RPGs, and besides, the guys who deved Fallout 1/2 had a great sense of humor..

Unless they maintain turn-based isometric gameplay, then **** that, it might be a good game but I wouldn't see it as a real SEQUEL then, more as a spinoff..

Hopefully they'll do it right, and keep the same great sense of humor the previous ones had.
But I bet they'll keep the ol' Fallout gameplay because they know if they don't there'll be a large community that'll be hunting for their heads.

Fallout 3 on Oblivion engine? I thought they were supposed to finish what Black Isle started not make the damn game all over again.
