Aside from Alyx, Barney would be the only practical choice.

Eli would be too slow.
Kleiner would be useless with a weapon.
Dog is too powerful.
Mossman's off on some adventure.
Cubbage and Gregori seem to have disappeared and weren't important to begin with.
G-Man is impractical because of the story.
Lamarr would wander off.
Vortiguants make for boring conversation.
