hey ive just had a go at making a spray, but having one problem. its with the alpha channels. im using photoshop CS, now i am a complete beginer at it, but im also not stupid, and do learn fast, so im pretty sure im doing everything right. the bit im stuck on it, you take the image, copy it, and on the copy you apply a white overlay. then you also create a black background, and you put this black and white image as the alpha channel to define what parts are transparent. ok i understand that, but when i copy the black and white image over to the alpha channel, it just stays black, it doesnt seem to do anything, its still black. in the end i had to get the paintbrush and roughly sketch it on the alpha channel, cos i couldnt paste the image into it. please, what am i doing wqrong? im sure im doing everything correctly.
