Thought I'd shout to all the fellow NIN obsessees here, the entire new album With Teeth (release on may 3rd) is streaming on myspace at:

http://myspace.com/ninofficial

It's not in seperate tracks but it's all very damn good, a slightly different sound that actually throws back to PHM a bit. I really, really love it. This ranks with The Downward Spiral IMO.

I really like it. I've been listening to it none stop.

As have I.

Hehe, one of the later songs says "Nothing can stop me now".

That's in about 8 NIN songs.

I'm still not getting into it; I really like it, though I feel kind of distanced from it all somehow. I reckon half the songs are too short, and the piano break in "A-With-A-Teeth-Aaaah" doesn't really make sense to me. Though Beside You In Time and Only are brilliant. Perhaps it's the flow or something. Probably just not in the right frame of mind.

Nope, No way am i listening to it, I can resist, And i am waiting till its released, So i can enjoy it in the fullest.

I mean i have been listening to NIN ever since i was very young (As long as i can remember), And i can wait 4 days for the new album (It had better be better than The Fragile).

I like the piano break. I love Everyday is exactly the same and Only. Only is now my ringtone.

I assume he is being sarcastic, Or did fred and trent make up?
lol, I sure as f*ck hope not.

Oh, and for Mac users - nin.com's current section has a Garageband file for The Hand That Feeds, so people can remix it.

I know what you mean about not "getting into it", Kage... it's a bit more detached than what we've been used to recently, what with The Fragile.

Still, I have a feeling I'll connect to it much better when I have the CD and I'm listening to it at midnight in bed with my headphones.

The Fragile *shudders*, Is With Teeth that bad? Oh well, I will get it no matter what, Plus i dont trust other peoople anyways...

I'm still pretty sure that Trent doesn't like him.

If you look around, you can find the contents of the Garageband file (ie just the samples) around.

When I first listened to this album, I didn't think I liked it as much as the others. But then I just found myself going back to listen to it again. And then again. And pretty soon people were saying "Are you not sick of that album yet?". I have really been listening to it almost non stop.

So I'm happy with it.

It's nothing like The Fragile, happy? :p Now THAT was an album I could get into.

Yes, It does make me happy, Now don't get me wrong, I liked the fragile, But in contrast to NIN's other stuff, It wasent very good.

I like the new album alot. By far my favorite song is Right Where it Belongs.

been listening to it all day, its a nice solid album, love Right Where It Belongs

wow, snap :P

Three days 'till we can buy it.

/me goes to find the hand that feeds samples so he can remix in FLstudio...

'tis out!

I attribute my previous disliking to bad quality mp3s. It's ace.

i just got home from purchasing my copy and damn its sounds amazing
i got the dual disc version for anyone wondering :P
go get it!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

It's great. I didn't know there WAS a dual disc version, but the single disc one was only $10!

It's absolutely f*cking excellent. The second half of All The Love in the World, Sunspots, With Teeth, The Hand That Feeds, and everything else, it's all great.

hmm...theres no lyrics booklet included with the dual disc.
does the normal cd have one?
just curious.

Great album so far. I picked mine up this morning. i haven't really had the time to be alone with it but from what I've heard, I love it.

I was introduced to NIN a while ago but never really caught on until The Fragile came out. Maybe it was more accessible to a larger audience or something but whatever it was, Trent seems to have captured that same vibe again. He's a master of his craft.

  -Two thumbs up!

I just... er.. aqiured the songs...and so far it sounds good, pretty alright. Much better than allot of trents other stuff, some of which i think its just plain bad. But im getting on with this one much more... there's something more melodic and different about it.

i read Trent's explanation about no lyrics booklet being included but what about the fans who do value art?
oh well :|

I think the album art is great.

Also, the last part of All The Love in the World and all of Every Day is Exactly The Same = absolutely orgasmically excellent.

what do u mean?
i purchased the dual disc and all it has is one pic of Trent, thats it.
no lyric booklet, no other pics.. nothing.

hmm...does the regular CD version have more stuff included?

I picked it up on the 3rd, And its pretty good, Not as good as their other stuff, But case is just aweful, Printed on crappy paper, And it could have used liner notes.

All and all its pretty good, Namely "Beside you in time" and "Right where it belongs" and the piano part of "All the love in the world", But i couldent stand "Only" and "Getting smaller". Oh i got the duel disk version too, Kind of a waste of money though, A discogrephy (i dont know how to spell it) was kind of nice, But i know all the songs/LPs/EPs already.

Heres to wishing trent goes back to the pretty hate machine style next album.

No, I was just saying about the case design.

The site's good, I want to take it to kinkos or summat and print it all out.

hey Kage.. or well anyone here, do any of u have any experience printing out something like this?
i am supposed to get this done Monday at a printshop but i doubt i will get any help there since the person there knows very little about printing.

i did try it at home on my laser printer (in black) and it didn't come out quite right.. everything is a bit blurry.

any help on this would be appreciated.

I have some experience with those large printers. You need to make a new preset with the dimensions of the poster and then print it with that preset selected. Atleast thats how it worked in my school's poster printer. Man, we had a blast printing posters out when the teacher was gone. Hahaha. Took forever though.

I just noticed that the Printable one is a lot smaller than the Viewable one. The viewable one shows dimensions of 32x96in, which is 6x9ft. Whereas the printable version is half of that, 3x4ft. Kinda strange.

uh uh... :(
that sounds complicated...hopefully the people over at a print shop know what to do cause i am clueless

wow.
i had not looked at the link Kage provided until i went to the print shop...only to find out that link is one to a high resolution poster.

i was hoping it was a lyrics booklet...and while does seem to have the lyrics, its a poster and would cost me around $70 Canadian at the local Kinkos printing shop to have it in colour :(

if anyone has a link to the lyrics booklet which wouldn't cost me so much, i'd very much apprecite it.
thanks.

I can't really "connect" with this album like I did with Trent's other stuff. I still think The Downward Spiral will forever be his best work.

The last song (right where it belongs I think its called) is really good

Yep, the last two are actually.

And the first 11.

found a interview which i thought NiN fans would like to read.
it talks about what Trent has gone through in the last few years and it also talks about how With Teeth was put together.

good to see Trent recover and put out an amazing album

oh shit, nice interview indeed

"I'm less concerned about keeping it [so focused] now and [more concerned with] trying to make it more truthful and honest." - Trent

Only, anyone? "Less concerned, about fitting into the world / your world that is"
