Hello. First I would like to appologize if this question has already been answered. I looked but couldn't find it. That said here are my specs:
Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz
ATI Radeon 9550
Sound Blaster Audigy 2
Windows XP Pro SP 2
Intel D875PBZ Motherboard
Kingston 512 DDR-RAM
Unknown CD-RW
Unknown DVD-ROM
Any other questions I would be happy to accomodate.
Now the problem. When I try to install Half-Life 2, it goes through the setup and says it is goig to install. Then it doesn't. I don't get an error message or anything, it just doesn't work. I have tried stopping all my other programs and then installing, but nothing. Also, I have tried to install Steam first, and then install Half-Life 2. Still nothing. I do know that, since this is by step-brother's game, it has already been registered to an account, but this shouldn't interfere with setup and installation should it? I also know that I have enough disk space available. Well, that about covers it, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Also, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. Thanks in advance!
