No June but July?

Well so far nothing has been released in June so do you guys think it is fair to say that Valve might relaese the binks or something tangible to wet our appetites during July? or will they wait until August? DAMN the DESPERATION!!

Apparently they're going to be released in bits and pieces over July.....

Of course what Valve say and what actually happens are completely different things.

HL 2 can come out in july provided its all ship shape and the bug ironing they are doing is only minute stuff .. but some how the will aim for Q3 since it looks better on paper that way.. i say sometime late aug early sept the game will come out.

binks in July (they will keep us busy for a couple of weeks) , going gold in augest (we will all be excited) , Late augest early Septmeber Half-Life 2 will be released , (The wait will be over) . Thats how it is going to go for the next months

i have a feeling some will come out very soon because hl2 is for sure going to come out by late august imho... but anyways keep looking for the binks they hinted at them coming any time now

Can someone remind me. These binks are videos we've already seen, yes? If so, whats the big deal? I'm hoping we get a few more screenshots too.

If all goes ahead like planned, expect to see reviews in the September issues of magazines (which are published in August). Those should give us even more screenshots and bits of info to feast on just before the game is released.

Yeah they'll be the same videos we've already seen but in higher resolution. Besides, noone likes using Quicktime (do they?).

I figure it will be like the Slipknot website in conjunction with their new album. For their website, a new section opened up every week one by one, with all of them open on the release date. I figure it will be similar, except the last bink video will be released a couple of weeks before the release date, to give Steam users ample time to preload it.

I doubt they will release them week by week (that would be 11-13 weeks, not fun), so maybe they'll release two or three a week?

They said they would strategically release the BINKS according to the game release.
So it all depends, on when the game will be released.
