Noticed something

In the latest Bink "Coast" we never see the antlion's main attack.
It's always off camera and the player seems pretty intent on killing every antlion he sees.
And also, when the player gets out of the buggy and as the antlion is about to own the combine soldier, the camera turns away for about 2 frames then goes back as the combine is falling.

Think its just a coincidence or is there some sort of link? :hmph:

Probably a coincidence. I Doubt their attacks are very spectacular anyway. They probably just fluffle you with their legs or mouth or something.

I was thinking the attack could include some unknown element, such as a laser or reference to something else in game...
good conspiracy theory though!

Well, you see their "main" attack a lot in the bugbait video, so I doubt it's some sort of conspiracy.

Actually it's because they're trying to mate you. So considering the Ratings they have to look away each time they want to "attack" you or others.
