You guys ever notice how noobs are the ones that cooperate the best in squads?

I've noticed that the noobs are the ones who haven't learned the ins and outs of the game yet, and play in squads and cooperate with the squad because they think they're supposed to, because they think everybody else does. They haven't learned the awful truth yet.

... While the seasoned gamers are the ones that go solo because they think they're so great and they think they know the game better than the rest.

I remember back when BF2 first came out, I was playing on day 2, damn near EVERY server was teamplay. Do this, do that. Blow this up, blow that up. Flank left, run right.

I started way late (patch 1.12), but from my experience it's the 'nubs' that frustrate me the most. I understand they're new (which I obviously don't blame them), but often times they don't perform the simple duties seasoned veterans do which result in our deaths.

Take for example, I'm hovering the heli infront of the AA which he refuses to kill and eventually leads to our deaths. Or when the people fire machine guns at tanks instead of using TV missiles, then when I explain TV missiles exist they use them exclusively. I've gone through that routine more times than I would like to remember, and eventually it get's frustrating.

Best way to look for teamwork in random pubbies is make a squad called TEAMWORK and invite people who seems to have a clue. Otherwise hope for the best, although taking the initiative will definately get you more results.

this happened to me the other day, after virtually 10 seconds with this bloke in my heli i knew he was one of those ''aw tv missiles.....AWESOME!'', he never used the mg and used the tv missiles solely even for for 1 soldier on the ground, god he was a noob, i dunno how many times i died by a humvees mg coz this noob wouldnt use the mg and blast the hummers 50cal...even when he missed with the tv missile he would wait for it to reload while we were being hit *sigh* ;(

I agree with you usually, but I like to think I do pretty good when I'm not talking. Everything I need done exists in Q.

It's a double edged sword... they might stick around with you, but they're not always gaurenteed to do anything... I usually conform to the needs of my squad... aka, if there's an AT with heavy vehicle pops, I go support.

Yeah, I generally change my kit up regularly..unless I'm finding one that I'm doing really good with that seems to be helping alot. I hate the people that stay medic or sniper the entire game though. Way to really hardly help us out. There's always teh random tank/apc/vodnik that is traveling around that they could have helped destroy if they would have respawned as AT that time around...or a poor teamate that has no ammo, and if he would have been support just once, he could have dropped 4 ammo bags, and everybody would have been happy...

I would just like to point out that Qon, bvasgm, sinkoman, SixThree and I were pretty damn kickass in a squad together.
