On the combine homeworld, the climactic battle between Gordon Freeman and G-man rages... just when you think you have victory, the G-man unleashes a massive energy beam, knocking you to the ground, almost dead. Then...

ADRIAN SHEPARD ARRIVES!!!

Still in his uniform, and equiped with badass weaponary, he unloads a full clip of smg ammo on G-Man, and then finishes him with the combat knife... obviously thats what valve has planned for Shepard... some people are just to narrowsighted to see it...

Adrian is not Valves creation... Gearbox created him, he doesn't really have aanything to do with the Half-Life universe, he just wonders around it :P

Then, in my opinion, Valve should pull a Microsoft on Gearbox and be all like "Hey, you see that extra thing you added to that thing we made? We own it."

Actually, I talked to Gabe and, although I shouldn't reveal this, this is how he said Half-Life 3 will end...

WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Gordon Freeman has breached the Combine Mastermind's HQ. Most of the characters we know and love are there, with the exception of Adrian Shepherd (who was disintegrated by the G-Man for being "a tease"). You are using the gravity gun (supped up still, of course) to fire tofu hotdogs into the MM's open maw and make him gag up Alex and Dr. Kleiner (who have merged into one entity during a teleporter accident). While doing this, you must repeatedly return the briefcase to the G-Man (now revealed as Agent Daffodill) behind the control panel who keeps getting angry and throws it out the window after each unsuccessful hack into the Combine network. Barney (now confined to a wheelchair), urges you to "Leave him alone!" as it was Combine technology that successfully gave him a hair transplant. All the while, the combine Mastermind is launching disused urinal cakes at you and attempting to blind you with his Guardian-Angel-shaped nightlight. I'm afraid I can't tell you exactly how it ends when you get Alyx/Kleiner back, but I will give you this confusing little hint... take it how you want... "There is no crowbar."

Wow, that ending does sound awesome, I can't wait....................what? Why are you all looking at me like that?

yes thats what i have expected when i saw half-life2 its just sad

Obviously, HL3 will be the game with the most intriguing plot-twist yet...not to mention the tofu, that is. :D

i think itll all end when gordon comes back in time and stops the accident at BMFC

It would be cool if in an expansion as Adrian, you are in the prison and use a turret to kill many antlion guards that were on their way to gordon to kill him (which presumes that adrian saved gordon's life)

*Throws self off cliff

But not before offering everyone a spamsandwhcih

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. While all of those guesses are plausible, I think the game'll end when Gordon puts the gravity gun in a clay pot and screws the brains out of Alyx.
