Hey, I'm Yorick. I've worked amateurly in the mod industry for about 5 years, ranging from games including Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, and others. Experience includes mapping and music composition (which I don't think I'll have time to persue for now) and working as a webmaster, writer, and project manager.
Since we don't work in the same building, communication and keeping things organized can be pretty difficult, and I've found it always helps to have someone on board dedicated to doing just that. I have experience working with many different internet options that will help, forum software, wiki's, and I know html, php and some mysql. I'm currently enrolled in college, taking, among other things, a writing course. I was in Advaned Placement English for two years in High School, as well. I've also taken a course on Game Development at Gameversity.
I also have my own webspace, if anyone is working off of any places that aren't incredibly good. Plenty of space and bandwidth for whatever we'd need. I'm not the greatest at webdesigning, on the graphics end of things, but I can implement and make pretty much anything functional.
