Offline

My local Game Store (UK) says you need an internet connection to play all the time, ie not just for registration.

Is this right? I thjought the offline mode was to allow you to play while not connected to the net?

Am confused. Dont mind using dila up to register but cant have it running all the time while I play.

HAs anyone here used the offline mode to play while being disconnected form the net?

Need to know before I buy.

Yes you need to register your cd key and a Offline mode will be available so you can play even if your internet goes offline.

This does not bode well for me, I have two PCs, the one I'm on has internet connection but really bad specs, the other one is a new high spec machine, but with no internet connection, I dont really want to set up internet on my good PC, I'd need to buy the equipment for a wireless network and get all the security programs, all more money than I have,
Does anyone know if you can register on a different machine than you play it on?

It has to be registered on the machine you play on.
