Alrighty...

I decided to reinstall my game today... only to realize that there's 900 patches out there for it.

I have the original version, no expansions or anything(can't find them anywhere)...
So what patches do I install?

Also, any good frequently updated mod/in general sites for the game?

And any mods that you guys would personally recommend?

You must buy resistance, an expansion pack. It's dirt cheap and all the good addons today are made for resistance only.
Ebay might have Resistance, thats how I got my copy.

well for a start you need the game of the year 1.96 patch to get you started although if you just bought it recently the game will be fully patched out of the box

http://www.ofpec.com/ is the best for mods, but it got pwnt and is currently being rebuilt, but it was definitely the best and most well designed OFP mod library.<3

-You have OFP:Resistance or Game Of The Year edition (GOTY) patched to V1.96 Beta or Release Candidate; then you don't need any update.

Damn it, I saw the GOTY edition in the used games bin too!

I bought the game used way back in November... I never bothered getting patches or anything before, but I wanna play multiplayer... seeing as I heard it's pretty tactical.

Sooooo, too late for exchanging... and since then ebgames has gotten rid of all their used games.
Which really pissed me off >.<

well your best bet is to just update to 1.96 and you should be good to go
