I got to thinking about this. If the Combine use a teleport system, like ours, what could Adrian Shepard be doing? Both us and them use xen as a relay. Is it possible that Adrian Shepard will return to destroy the Combine teleport devices, and prevent a second wave of Combine from attacking a "liberated" earth?

I want new expansion with Adrian Shephard but with another story - I think the
7 hours war is best choice ! btw r2000 where is your pro Adrian sign !??

There's multiple threads about this and if nothing this will kick off the Adrian Shepard lovers rebellion....but we will be here to crush it :D

You are rebel, we are good Half-life fans. We accept part of storyline (yes OpFor is part of HL story) :sniper:

Somewhat. It doesn't fit into the general context, but it is there. Just because I don't like Adrian Sheperd doesn't make me not a fan....I did actually like OP4. Fool.

OpFor fit into storyline, but OpFor story is not important for story of HL2...

Race X won't be continued. They were mereley there so Gearbox could make some new enemies.

Race-X wasnt succesfull with colonization of Earth. Adrian kick their asses...

Thats not the point. The point is Gearbox made them, and were only allowed to make them because they wanted to design some new enemies. Not because Laidlaw wanted them in.

still, there's no reason not to have adrian, he has been hired by the gman and deserves a comeback. It would be funny playing a character who is a complete unknown compared to the great mr. freeman

The only way I could see Shephard returning is if a situation arises where Gordon can't be in two places at once. That would require Adrian to step in.

But realistically, I don't see a reason for him to return. He can't be trusted. :P
