Hey I just made a good why-HL2-arent-delayed theory... Gabe wouldn't hurt us like that making us wait in expectation for a few weeks wich automatically switches everything into hyper-hype. Then a little before the supposed release date BAM! No HL2 for you! *mwahahahaha* dusins of suicides would be reported the days after... Well maybe not but he still wouldn't do that to us...

Im still optimistical!

i predict steam will release hl2 on the 30th (9/30/2000 was release date the for the cancelled hl dreamcast game... coincidence?)

the boxed may be as late as november (to celebrate 5 year thingy)

This is part of an evil plan that Gabe has. I don't know what it is, but it's evil.

If it does not come out on the 30th, I'll buy a new card and buy C&C: Generals: Zero Hour, that will keep me occupied for a long time.

I'm getting tired of all those delay threads in general discussion. Honestly, unless I see a thread that has an acutal statement from valve that the game won't be released on the 30th I don't care.

How many threads does there have to be on that one subject. Now I see threads for people to stop deleting delay threads. Arrrgg!!
