Overheating Question

I've got a p4 1.7ghz
512 ram

its a standard rig, im thinking of upgrading to an ATI 9800 256mb
is it likely ill have to buy some sort of cooling mechanism/other appliances to support all the performance?

:cheers: First off, if you can, please post your current case temps and CPU temps. If you're going to upgrade by getting a 9800 Pro, no, there shouldn't be any drastic heat issues. Although if you were to overclock the 9800 Pro that's a whole different thing, otherwise no need to add any extra cooling for it.
