Anyone know these guys or where their forums are? I recently went on their server. And they picked a place where rpg was EXTREMELY easy to get. So I grab it and just start owning a storm with it. One pbs clan member says STOP SPAMMING THE RPG then uses the rpg. I go ...ok whatever and continue killing him and his friend with it since they are on the other team. He then says I cannot use the rpg I say well dont use nades then. He agrees not to 5 min later he kills me with a nade. I go oooh deals off and he tries to plead that he saw me with a rpg and all this but I never had said rpg, and the deal was no USING either weapon. So I own him with the rpg and he goes STOP USING IT OR I WILL KICK YOU! I say ...why did you pick a level with a easy to get to rpg...thats stupid im not gonna stop just cause you cant beat me against a rpg. I kill him again and he kicks me. I rejoin and he bans me. So if anyone knows their website please send me a e-mail so I can talk to their leader. [email protected] Thanks guys!

What the **** is wrong with people and the RPG?! I mean i've killed SOOOO many RPG whores and it wasnt that hard, i personally enjoy the challenge and I';m an RPG whore myself sometimes.

Like seriously, deal with it, stop whining and I don't care if you're an admin cuz the game is called DEATHMATCH, you're supposed to kill your OPPONENTS BY ANY MEANS AND AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!!

Hey, I'm a n00b to multiplayer anything, and started with hl2dm about 10 days ago. I abide by the ettiquette, not killing spawns if I can help it, not parking or camping on weapon spawns, trying to engage and fight full on. I can't say I like certain styles of play (hiding in a crouch in killerbox on the highest bridge and xbowing players as they spawn over and over and over again, mining the top stairs in overwatch and camping on the rpg), but I deal with it. Then I got thrown off a server and banned because I seemed to be doing too well. No explanation, just thrown off and banned. I have average latency, use the whole map and all weapons (though as a n00b my aim is bad so I tend to throw stuff). Still, I have come in the top 4/16 a number of times, so I am not an inept either.

So what is the whiny-assed idea of throwing off players who do well, or maybe players you don't know personally? :angry: If the server is public, let the public play. I can't remember the server name, but it must be run by a 12 year old. Is there some kind of ettiquette for how administrators should run their servers? Never multiplayed before, so I have no idea what this kind of world is like, but have to admit it is addictive.

No who cares about camping. Honestly suck it up you pussies and KILL THE CAMPER BECAUSE TEH POINT OF DEATHMATCH IS TO KILL not to act nice to eachother. I came into the DM world playing with spawn killers and campers and I loved it. It made me a WAYYYY better DM player then those pussy servers so seriously I don't want to ever hear any complaints of camping.

The point of the game is to kill anyway you can and to be able to use any gun you want at anytime as much as you want but.. any fool can shoot an orb or a rocket and get kills and most younger players do and have the nerve to say you got pwned or they are some kind of great player cause they can shoot a rocket at you.

I cant tell you how many guys ive run off my server with my magnum cracking heads with a skillfull weapon, you guys can go on thinking your a great player with you mindless weapons if you like.

Skywarp, the only weapon camping I have a problem with is the combine orb ball in a tight area - that's it. RPG whores can easily be disposed of...if you are skilled. But for a n00b, the best way to become skilled is for them to be faced with that challenge and for them to think of a way to get rid of that rpg whore on their own. And with the grav gun, you can think of some pretty neat ways to kill your opponents.
