Hello fellow CS players. I am writing to you as a gaming guy who doesnt know very much about computers (laptop's to be secific). I recently purchased twodifferent laptop's for school and was trying them both out to see which I prefered for playing CS:Source. I purchased the Compaq Presario R4125CA, and the Toshiba M50. The Compaq seemed to run quite smoothly and under the video stress test it gave a 25.36 fps, whereas the Toshiba M50 only gave a measly 16.0 fps. Could anyone help me out in figuring why the Toshiba would be running so poorly compared to the less expensive Compaq? Thanks
Dustin D
P.S. The Compaq had the AMD Athlon 3500+ processor, with 512 KB L2 Cache, 512 MB Memory, ATI Radeon Express 200M IGP with 128 MBand the Toshiba M50 has an Intel Centrino 740, 512 MB DDR Memory, Intel Extreme Graphics 2 with 128 MB DDR Shared Memory

because the amd is a better proccesor and on the toshiba u wont run games well with intel extreme gfx

Yo, I'm the guy you spoke to on the phone from Future Shop lol, yeah it's the graphics card in the toshiba, it just sucks...for playing games atleast, especially something demanding like source or HL2, I prefer AMD for a chip but with a centrino it's just going to promote battery life and handle more of a work load at a lower Ghz.
