please help im stuck

iv been pulling my hair out trying to figure this one out.
i need to get that orb to shut down the force fields.

any help would be appreciated.

1. Get inside the generator/orb room.
2. Open the door.
3. Use gravity gun primary fire mode to get the orb out of the generator. (Aim so that the orb goes out of the room)
4. Close the door.
5. Win.

Don't you need to climb on some pipes? My memory is awful...

Yeah, there are some pipes you need to get in with. Crawl along the ceiling and then drop in.
