please help

Im on chapter 3 and im in this dark room where loads of zombies keep on coming and i keep on getting killed. What do I do to make it easier?

Flashlight on the Zombies, Alyx will take them out for you.
If youre waiting for the elevator, you need to find a powerbox.

in the dark room where theres a power box i think and theres a zombie moaning at the other side of the door and in the other room zombies keep on coming and zombines with grenades. Must be at least 20.

I think I know where you are....Use the powerbox, that'll let Alyx through and you can fight the Zombies together.

If that doesnt work I dont know where you are.

there is an elevator in the room but i cant use it

No Alyz isnt with u all the time shes only with u for bout 75% of the game

No, I mean the bit where the elevator is broken - she actually tries the elevator herself ("I would have settled for stairs"), but it doesn't work. So she says "let's follow that sparking power cable"...

Ahh it seems that my game was bugged i loaded up an earlier game and now Alyz is here in same area.

I am stuck in the same area but i found the power box and are waiting for the eleveator. There are just too many of them. I end of running out of ammo. it seems the eleveator never comes. Am i missing something.

itds as i said same thing happened to me and alyz should be with you its a bug the only way out of it is to load an earlier save game. And when the zombies come there should be music.

Yeah Alyx is with me. She's died a couple of times on me trying to get through the area. Damn zombies with gernades.

I will try loading a previous save. see what happens

I found that area incredibly hard because it auto-saved me with only 26 health. The best tactic is to flare lots of zombies so that you have flaming corpses showing you zombie silhouettes. Also use the gas canisters you find. They provide good ammunition and can set fire to a good three zombies at once.

Also, keep moving around when your flashlight is recharging. It should keep you and Alyx out of trouble for a few seconds more.

has anyone else had the same same bug as I had?
1. Alyz isnt with you
2. elevator hardly ever comes( and if it does Alyz isnt with you so the elevator doesnt move).
3. When the zombies come theres no techno music.
