Please Help

ok, i didn't know where to post this, but there is no HLDM forum, so i had to post it here,
i just updated my half-life to 1.1.1.0, but still, when i want to start an internet game, it says the version is out of date, it checks for updates and it says: half-life 1.1.1.0 is out of date but there is no update for it...
what do i do? PLEASE HELP.

The problem is that you are using the old WON version of half life, you need to update to steam. Don't worry, this is free and takes only a few minutes.

First, go here and download steam. Once it is downloaded, install it. You will need to create a user account. Once thats done, it should convert your old half life install to the steam one and update it automatically. Have your CD key handy incase it asks for it.

Steam is much better if you ask me. I love steam!

yeah, it should be cool for people who have DSL, but not for those with a 56k dial-up...
