I've noticed on the trader in the Dark Brotherhood some poisonous apples (mildly expensive) that have the trait 'Deadly Poison (ignores poison barriers)' or somesuch.

So my idea, it should be possible to buy one, stick it on the ground and a hungry character should pick it up and eat it, and proceed to die.

Cookie to someone who does this, preferably with screenshots for extra lol factor?

He will cut it and eat it!

And he made a video for a ROTFL factor.

if you're in the DB one of the quests will make use of a poisoned apple ....so ya

/me laughs evil laugh

the last quest where you have to do something very evil ..they didnt give you a poisoned apple to make the job easier?

they might have but I didn't use it D:

:shh:

the last quest of the Dark Brotherhood has NOTHING to do with the poisonous apple.
Now there is a quest that does, but it's not the last nor do you have to use it.

hmmm I just assumed it was the last cuz ...well you're the only left (I think ...I still have to do it but I'm stalling cuz I dont want to do the dirty deed ..except the khajit guy ..I hate him)

yeah that khajit guy pissed me off to. No the plot takes an interesting twist, I wont spoil it.

Hey guys. = D

By the way, for a little demonstration of what apples can do. Head on over to my wealth of clips. (It's in the thread listing.)

Already linked dude :)

BTW, it's hard to make someone actually eat the apple. Even in an Inn, after planting the apple and stealing all other food from someone, they often still have something else to eat/drink.

Heh, it required some patience to do, but there's another trick to doing it faster. (I show it in the one where he's talking about danger at summerset isle , although it passes quickly)

Ah I see the link now, firefox being weird.

I thought you simply cut out the part where you replace his food with the apple. What did you actually do?

I grabbed the food out of his pocket and stuffed an apple in his pocket instead.

Since it's a tavern they eat it almost instantly. I stood at the entrance shoving apples in everyone's pants.

Well, that's actually how you're supposed to do it - Lucien tells you that. You have to take any food they have and give them the apple.

I remember him only saying to replace food with apples. I first tried taking all the food and putting apples on plates.

And I also only found out through experimentation, since put pocket seems to not work with many other things.

I think he meant replacing food with apples in the inventory oO. Did putting the food on the plate work as well?

That's how I killed the DB.

I just threw them all on a table and everyone came up and had one.

I dunno why, but that made me laugh. I tried putting it on the plate, but I only ****ed up and knocked the plate and everything else on the table to the floor. So I got angry and started stabbing everyone.

That's why I usually throw the plate off the table, makes it easier and doesn't seem to make a difference.

no. I waited and waited ..nothing ..so then I just killed them the old fashioned way

I found today that Lucien's apple supply is ressuplied every so often. I now have 20 poisonous apples and I didn't have to fight through the dungeon (You can just go in through a secret exit that should be easy to find if you already did the dungeon.)

A little off-topic, but DB related - *little spoiler* in Brume, in the house of the Khajit you have to kill, in a keg with a very hard lock (lol) I found a Robe and Hood of the Black Hand. Pretty strange - was the Khajit once a Speaker, or has he killed one? Makes you wonder...

Anybody know if making an uber poisonous potion and sticking it in somebodies pan... pocket would have the same effect?

I don't want to join the Dark Brotherhood, but still want to get my sneaky kill on.

Unfortunately you cannot plant anything but poisoned apples in people's pockets.

/me remembers Fallout where you could activate plastic explosives and plant them in someone's pocket ;]

The first thing id want to mod is a stick of dynamite on Oblivion, one which you can put in pockets. = D
